Following the Great Commission
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them . . .” — Matt. 28:19
“If you want to boast, boast only about the Lord.” — 2 Cor. 10:17
That’s the number of baptisms Pfrimmer’s Chapel has been a part of since May 22 of this year.
In just two months.
That’s a staggering number by any account, but especially when you consider that variety of services in which those baptisms were done:
25 — on Pentecost Sunday in our creek
16 — at Event in the Tent in a horse trough
14 — from El Poblado on the lakeshore
16 — from Berrugas in the Caribbean Ocean
102 — at Camp Freedom in the lake
2 — at Pfrimmer’s Chapel during Sunday morning worship 26 — at Aldersgate youth ministries in a hotel swimming pool.
201 folks baptized for the very first time or remembering God’s grace upon their lives.
201 folks wanting to publicly declare their allegiance to the Kingdom of God and their intention to walk out their faith in a very harsh world.
201 folks changed by the love and grace and power of the Holy Spirit through the symbol of water.
We are so tremendously blessed to be a part of a church that follows the Great Commission and boasts in the Lord!
