Nepal Mission Trip 2019 by Steven Uhde
“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”’
How could you ever need more inspiration to go to ‘Get Out!’, especially to the land of the world’s highest peaks?
Pfrimmer’s Chapel’s Pursue52 will make our first mission trip to Nepal this November. Nepal is a mysterious and exotic land between India and China, and home to 8 of the world’s 10 tallest mountains. Steeped in tradition and Hindu culture, it’s also home to 30 million people, 90 % unreached, and only 1.3% Christian. We will be challenged, and we will learn much.
For two weeks we’ll be serving alongside our dear sister Sanga, her family, Pastor Harka and others of the Kathmandu community sharing Christ through a Pastors Conference, women’s ministry, children’s ministry, and a water purification system installation. Preparation and planning is well underway, and God continues to unveil His plans as we draw closer to the appointed dates.
There are many ways you can support this mission. Give generously. Pray for our missionaries going; Ed Beedle, Jami Smith, David Moore, Jeannie Bedel, Mindy Sterling, Vince Cecil, Tyler Best, Steven Uhde and Pastor Tim Johnson. Support them with your encouragement and financial backing. Pray for the people of Nepal, those we will serve and serve with, for hearts prepared to receive, for relationships to be forged, and for God to be glorified through it all.
